Who we are

ChinaUniPath is an independent China university admissions and scholarship guidance service. We use the information you choose to provide to maintain your account, assess enquiries and provide application assistance.

Information collected

When you choose Google Sign-In or Google One Tap, Google provides your verified account identifier, name and email address. We store these along with the date you registered and your most recent login. We do not receive or store your Google password or access your Gmail inbox.

If you start an application, we may also store your education background, grades, degree and field preferences, nationality, funding preference, intake, WhatsApp number and notes. Any document collection must take place through a separately approved secure process.

If you send an eligibility enquiry without signing in, we store the name, email, optional WhatsApp number and study details you submit in our private enquiry database, along with the date received and any staff follow-up notes. We use a one-way keyed identifier derived from your IP address (or email if no IP is available) to limit spam; we do not display this identifier in staff records. Enquiry submissions do not subscribe you to marketing.

Why we use your information

Basic account information is used to identify you, let you return to your application, and provide the admission guidance you request. Application details help our authorized staff review and track your enquiry. We may use your email for necessary account and application communications.

Promotional or opportunity emails are optional. We only use your email for marketing if you separately choose to opt in, and you can withdraw that preference. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing.

Storage, protection and access

Account and application data are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database. Access is restricted to your signed-in account and authorized ChinaUniPath staff. Secure session cookies keep you signed in. Google provides the sign-in service; Cloudflare provides website and database infrastructure. We do not sell applicants’ personal data.

Your choices and deletion

You can browse the public website and contact us without signing in. If you create an account, you can request access or correction of your details. The My Application page offers a way to delete your account and the application records linked to it. Deleting your Google account does not automatically delete enquiries sent separately without login, or communications through WhatsApp and email. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of those records.

We keep your account details while the account is active or needed to provide services and will review retention as the service develops. Applicable laws may require preservation of certain records. Contact us about access, corrections, deletion or marketing preferences through Contact.

International service and changes

Visitors may access ChinaUniPath from different countries, and data may be processed on infrastructure outside your country. Please do not submit passports, medical records, bank details or sensitive documents in ordinary enquiries. If this policy changes materially, we will update its published date and notify users when required.
